It’s hard to believe, with all the great Australian players over the years – none won the Masters. Australia has British Open Champions — Peter Thompson, Greg Norman and Ian Baker-Finch to name a few. They also have U.S. Open Champions with Geoff Oglive and David Graham. Plus, PGA Champions Steve Elkington and Wayne Grady. But no Masters Champions. Could this be the year? Stuart Appleby has the enviable position of playing in the last group on Masters Sunday – a position from which the last 16 winners have come. However, also in the last group tomorrow is none other than Tiger Woods. So, how do you like Appleby’s chances now?

I always thought that Norman won a Masters…but your right – no Aussies with a green jacket. I like Appleby…what a great swing – compact, simple and he can hit it a mile.
I can’t wait till the final round. It’s going to be a great round of golf!
